“We Mean Custom” Winners Show Extreme Ingenuity

AS MARK TWAIN SAID, “the report of my death was an exaggeration.” So, too, are the reports of the death of “custom” in favor of all cookie-cutter systems. Indeed, there is still a heck of a lot of “custom” in the custom installation market.
That was proven recently by a slew of submissions to the first-ever “We Are Custom” Installation Contest sponsored by Leon Speakers. The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based loudspeaker manufacturer is known for its ability to provide dealers with “one offs” to solve unique and particularly difficult audio jobs. So, in conjunction with CE Pro, the company invited dealers to submit their most creative installations. Here is a glimpse of the winners’ work.
